Hello, my name is Lynne Elder, I am an artist and designer with a passion for everything home! To me, Interior Design is more than a profession, it's a passion! My style is relaxed, coastal-modern and timeless and I gather inspiration from the natural elements in color, texture and form to create a unique look that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
I take a step-by-step approach to helping clients create a space that is a comfortable and enjoyable place to live and work. From paint colors and lighting, to wall coverings, window treatment and furniture selections, I work with closely with clients to create custom designs that best reflect their tastes, functionality and lifestyle.
I offer many years of experience in the field of home Interior Design and Real Estate and have been a licensed Realtor, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, since 2004. I previously attended VCU School of the Arts and completed the University of Richmond Interior Decorating Certificate Program in April 2023. I am currently a member of the International Furnishings & Design Association, an HSR Certified Home Stager for Realtors and Certified Color Consultant and Vacation Rental Designer. I am a Richmond, VA native and raised my family there. I currently reside in coastal North Carolina, with my husband and our dog, Henley.
In addition to my passion for Interior Design, I am also an artist. I paint portraits and glass ornaments of homes and pets to create one-of-a-kind keepsakes for clients. I believe art and design can work together to create an environment that is both visually stimulating and emotionally uplifting.
